  • Biography.
    Ms. Compton was born in Detroit, Michigan. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1982. After graduating from Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, she went on to serve in the military during the Gulf War. Ms. Compton lived in Germany and Arizona before returning to Florida. In January 2010, Ms. Compton opened her law practice focusing on employee rights, personal injury, workers' compensation, and family law. Ms. Compton teaches at the Jacksonville, Florida ground campus for the University of Phoenix, and is currently in her second year as the Law and Ethics-Area Chair for the School of Business.
